We designed and installed new and extended mechanical and electrical services in Liverpool’s historic Royal Liver Building.
We were charged with achieving a CAT A refurbishment of the third, eighth and ninth floors of the iconic eleven-storey building on St. George’s Dock, Liverpool.
Works included new VRF heating/cooling systems, mechanical ventilation, underfloor small power installation and new dimmable lighting to office space and breakout areas.
During the project, our work impressed of the building’s tenants, who approached us about working on another project.
Pershing, a subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon, is based on the eighth floor of the Royal Liver Building. Subsequently, they hired us to conduct a CAT B fit-out, which achieved a gold standard LEED accreditation.
Covering an area of 84,000 square feet, The Royal Liver Building provides a highly efficient and high standard office space. Completed over a 32-week phased programme, the project was delivered on time. It required extensive experience and expertise in time and logistics-planning to adhere to the client’s defined restrictions. Specifically, these regarded the impact to occupied areas of the building, delivery management and access control.
